Vocal Technique Class
In this small group, individual attention will be given to each voice as we study proper breathing, posture, support, placement and projection. Students will sing individually and as a group as they learn with and from peers. Just like a private voice lesson with friends! Students will learn and perform songs from a musical theater songbook (students are required to purchase this useful songbook/CD which teacher will have available).
Class Size: 4 - 8 $110 per 10-week session
Vocal Technique for Kids: 3rd-5th grade Wednesdays 5:00-5:45 pm (with Beth)

Musical Theater
Learn to create characters, act and move on stage while singing! The focus is to build effective singer/actors who connect with their audience in song. Students will experiment with drama exercises, staging, choreography, mock auditions, group singing and solo singing. In each 10-week session we will study, sing, choreograph and perform several selections from great Broadway musicals. It’s a great idea to take a Vocal Technique class (or private lessons) before or while taking this class. We have conveniently placed those classes directly before or after Musical Theater.

Singing Fun! Ages 5-8
Plenty of games, movement, creative play and singing will fill our class each week as students prepare the mini-musical, “The Little Red Hen.” Learning to sing is fun as we bring to life all the characters of this favorite barnyard story! This is a class packed with musical content such as pitch matching, singing technique, music reading (using rhythm instruments). $5.00 class materials fee for practice CD and items for our show.
