CTM Summer Camp Instructors
Kelly Anneken
This is Kelly's second year as a Drama Dayz instructor. She is a 2005 graduate of Wright State University's Professional Actor Training Program. Her favorite roles include Katherine in Taming of the Shrew, Frankie in Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune, Lady Bracknell in The Importance of Being Earnest and Sandra in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest . In 2007, Kelly directed Lebanon Theatre Company's production of The School for Scandal, performed with The Drama Workshop in Defying Gravity and directed and produced Contains Adult Themes for the Cincinnati Fringe Festival. Currently, she is pursuing a career in comedy. In her spare time, Kelly works at the mall, teaches drama classes for CTM and is CTM's Props Manager.
Jonn Baca
Jonn is an Advanced Actor/Combatant within the Society of American Fight Directors, and teaches stage combat classes at CCM's Preparatory program, NKU, and Xavier University. He has worked on fights for the Cincinnati Ballet, Cincinnati Shakespeare Company, Opera Theater of St. Louis, and numerous high schools in the region.
Jenn Hillman
Jenn has a Bachelor of Arts in Drama from Transylvania University. She is currently working towards her Masters and License in Early Childhood Education from The College of Mount St. Joseph. She will be student teaching in the fall at Mason Heights. Jenn is very excited to be returning to Children's Theatre of Mason for another summer of fun!
Beth Kenniv
Beth teaches voice with passion, skill and a genuine love for her students! She brings 17 years of teaching choral music in both public and private schools in
grades K-12. Formerly Mason High School's choral music director, Beth had over 180 students each day in six choirs, teaching every musical style at every skill level.
Currently, she teaches music and drama at Mars Hill Academy. In addition to teaching, Beth is an accomplished director of over 15 musicals in schools, churches and
community groups, including The Children's Theatre of Mason . Beth loves musical theater because it allows kids to connect emotionally and physically to their voice.
Beth is also a busy mom with three young children, John, Ben and Elisha. In addition, she and her husband Dave serve together as leaders of Worship and Arts at
Living Word Fellowship in Loveland.
Cait Riley
Cait Riley is a recent graduate of the University of Central Florida’s Theatre Studies program. While attending UCF she was a board member of the production organization
Project Spotlight. She directed such pieces as Naomi in the Living Room, and I of Newton as well as stage managed several pieces including
Variations on the Death of Trotsky and Storm Story. While she has been seen on stage, as in The DMV, she discovered her passion was behind the curtain.
Working in children’s theatre has been the most rewarding page in her career thus far. She looks forward to returning to CTM this summer.
Nick Washington
Nick is excited to be working with CTM again. He began his career with CTM teaching beginning acting courses as well as directing several Drama Dayz summer workshops.
He is a graduate of Xavier University and is a fifth grade teacher here in Mason. In the last 5 years, Nick has enjoyed getting back into the theater scene in various
productions including Ragtime, Annie Get your Gun, and Joseph. He recently was music director for Once on This Island. He has served the roles of minister of music and
lead musician in several churches and is currently playing at New Jerusalem Baptist Church. Nick has taught piano lessons and has his own business, Washington Enterprises,
playing keyboards at weddings and special events. He also coaches baton twirling and is currently completing a graduate degree program in administration at the
University of Cincinnati . Nick has enjoyed doing children's theater and thanks his family and friends for their continued support.
